Dear Dr. Muench,
It has been more than 7 weeks now since my GreenLight PVP Laser Procedure and I want to thank you for the outstanding job you did. I expected things to “work” better, but I didn’t think I would feel like I had a brand new plumbing system installed.
There was no pain, very little discomfort, very little bleeding (a few drops each time I would urinate), which stopped completely after 2 weeks, no leakage, but lots of flow. As you said I would, I thought you installed a fire house hose.
One short story—Last night, my wife and I ate dinner later than usual (after 7pm). During my meal I drank a 12 oz. glass of water. Approximately 8:30 pm I had a cup of decaffeinated coffee. Just before going to bed at 9:30 pm I emptied my bladder. I didn’t have to get up one time during the night to urinate. Prior to 7 weeks ago, I would be up 5 or 6 times and spend 10 minutes standing in front of the toilet each time if I did something like that. IT IS WONDERFUL (Reminder—I am 72 years old).
I cannot express enough, my gratitude for people like you who spend so many years of schooling and internship so you can make life better for others. I shall never take it for granted.
Also, I would like to express my appreciation to the two young ladies who work in your office. They were very pleasant and treated me like I was the most important patient you ever had. They set up the appointments making sure it was for my convenience and did it for me immediately before I left the office. They also made sure I understood the instructions I was given.
If you ever have nay potential patients who hesitate about having this procedure done, feel free to give them my name and phone number for a reference.
With great respect and thanks,
K. Hughes
